35th Annual Sag Harbor Cup

Pantaenius America was a Vice Commodore Sponsor of the 35th Annual Sag Harbor Cup. Set at Breakwater Yacht Club, this Benefit Regatta provides 100 scholarships that enable local school children to enjoy a summer sailing experience in the Club’s Junior Sailing Program.

Project Sail

Project Sail Inc.’s Sea Scout Ship 272’s flag is now sporting a Pantaenius America logo, thanks to a sponsorship designed to help further this nonprofit’s mission. As with all Scouting, this organization’s mission is character development, which is achieved through fun challenges. Scouts enjoy the challenge of sailing, and as a result, gain independence.

San Diego Yacht Club Yachting Cup

San Diego Yacht Club’s signature spring event, the Yachting Cup regatta, returned on May 5-7, 2017 for the 45th year. Over 80 entries from numerous yacht clubs around Southern California—as well as international yacht clubs from Canada, Uruguay, and Bermuda—turned out for this year’s event. Midwest Women’s Sailing Conference

Over one hundred women—representing seven states—attended the 7th annual Midwest Women’s Sailing Conference on May 20th in Milwaukee. Pantaenius America sponsored this event, designed to help women improve their skills in the areas of safety, boat handling, maintenance and seamanship. This year, participants explored a range of topics, including racing strategies, first aid on the water, and winch maintenance.

Offshore Race Week

Pantaenius America Ltd. was proud to support five California yacht clubs (Encinal, San Francisco, Monterey Peninsula, Santa Barbara and San Diego) that joined forces—and races—to provide an exceptional Offshore Race Week, May 27 to June 3. This event takes ocean-rated boats from San Francisco to San Diego with stops in Monterey and Santa Barbara. Bringing the historic Spinnaker Cup and a revamped Coastal Cup together, and joining in with the second running of the SoCal 300, racers had the option of completing the entire week-long event or joining in for any of the individual races on their own.
