For decades, both companies have been led by two sailing-enthusiast brothers: Harald Baum, who took over Pantaenius in Hamburg in 1972, and Hans-Peter Baum, who founded Murette AG in Bern in 1976. The Baum name has long been synonymous with innovative yacht insurance, strong customer loyalty, and extensive claims expertise. Today, the next generation, Hans-Peter and Harald Baum's daughter and sons have taken the helm and decided to plot a shared course.
