How to conclude insurance policies online with Pantaenius
First, select the type of vessel and year of construction on the search screen.
Now enter the additional required information regarding vessel data and values, the type of use, registration and the desired cruising area and then click on the “next” button. If you have forgotten certain details, the system will ask you to complete these. Now enter your personal details and information regarding any pre-existing damage and insurance policies and then click on the “next” button again.
You will now get a summary of the information you have provided. Please read and download the information on your pre-contractual duty of disclosure, which is located on the end of the site. Please check and, if necessary correct the information you have provided. If you need to make any changes, select the “change” button for the relevant category to go back to the query. Here, you can amend or correct the relevant information. At the bottom of the page, confirm the correctness of your entries by placing a check mark and then press the "Request a quote now" button. Depending on the type of ship data you have entered, our system will either offer you the direct online conclusion of the insurance, or you will be contacted individually by our team regarding your request.
If the insurance can be concluded online, You will now get an email in which you will be asked to select a password for your personal user account. After entering your password twice, you can confirm it by clicking on the “confirmation / log in” button. If the passwords you have entered are not identical, the system will ask you to correct the entry. You have now successfully logged in to your user account.
If you need to correct any information you have previously entered, this is only possible for technical reasons if you start a new quote process.
Now select the category "My contracts, invoices and quotations" and then the button "Quotations". Your offer for insurance(s) with the reference number appears here. Now press the button "go to application".
All relevant product information is available to view in your customer login area and should be read before you place your order.
Now choose between the various product options under the respective product. This may be e.g. the amount of the deductible for Hull Insurance or the amount of the insured sums in Third Party Liability Insurance or Personal Accident Insurance. Should you not wish to conclude a certain insurance product, please enter the respective tick box accordingly.
Now enter the date on which you would like cover to commence.
You will then be asked for additional information such as e.g. your vessel's HIN number and its berth.
Enter the details of your chosen method of payment. Now tick the final declaration and click on “next”.
A final overview of the selected product will now appear. If you wish to change your selected product, click on the “change” button next to the relevant product. Complete the ordering process by clicking on the “order now with costs” button. By doing this, you are providing us with an offer to conclude the insurance contract or contracts. The contract shall become effective when we send your insurance policy by email and make it available via your customer login. You always have access to your deposited contract documents by using your access data.
